Here at StressBustingExpert™, we strive to be experts in our own stress management and encourage others to do the same.

We do not purport to be academic or professional specialists; we instead merely share our own observations and experiences on an intelligent, interactive platform in the hope they are of use to others or act as a catalyst for personal change and wellness improvement.

Indeed, the reason stress is so difficult to diagnose, treat and thus arguably does not attract the medical attention or legal recognition it deserves, is that it is unique to every single individual of every single age and culture.

Of course there are life triggers that would stress almost anyone; being faced with a serious illness or loss of a loved one, for example.

And these give us all a useful, common starting point from which to compare notes on stress from individual to individual.

But otherwise, what stresses one person may not stress another and some people are more prone to stress than others for a combination of complicated, overlapping reasons including genetics, biology and environmental factors.

And stress is relative; in whatever form it takes, it can be personally debilitating, capable of distorting decision making and a curse to overall emotional and physical wellness.

Fortunately, we can all "feel" stress in our own particular and sometimes peculiar ways, and can therefore take our own steps to identify and take ownership of warning signals before they escalate out of control.

The freedom and sense of personal achievement to be gained from this, once time is taken to glean relevant self knowledge and marshal coping techniques, can be highly liberating.

Put another way, stress is a natural human survival asset stretching back thousands of years, rather than any recently discovered "mental health condition".

As such, it possibly receives a much lower level of publicity or validation, so many find it embarrassing to admit that it affects them as much as it perhaps does.

But because we do not face as many mortal risks as we did all those years ago in this more secure world we now live in, it has less of an outlet.

And because of its uniqueness to individuals, each person has to take their own lead in directing themselves toward a far more relaxed, enjoyable, StressBusting™ lifestyle they and those around them deserve.

A starting point for any newcomers to this journey would be to consult our Mission Statement which can be viewed by clicking here, followed by our post entitled "Have an SMI™ (Stress Management Index™) to accompany your BMI".

And in the coming months, true to our word, we will be embarking on a number of exciting initiatives to enrich our user experience even further.

These include:-

● partnering with a market leading digital content and functionality specialist, to streamline our site ability, quality, reach and thus influencer status

● increasing our existing VRS (Video Relay Service) translation capability to create regular video content accessible to the Deaf and hard of hearing on StressBusting™ issues of particular concern to that important community

● translating relevant site content into other languages to enable different cultures to share with our users their own best StressBusting™ practices and techniques on a global forum - an information share which we feel has never been performed at a publically accessible and, as importantly, digestible level.

These cross culture stress sharing initiatives are of course only now possible because of the advent of the internet, so this is very much a case of us applying our own stated ideals as described in our post entitled "Embrace Technology to Stressbust™".

Because we believe it is only by sharing personal experiences and coping mechanisms that we can pool resource, showcase stress without shame or embarrassment as the global phenomenon it has always been, and in the process acquire the best tool kit required to all become true StressBustingExperts™ in our own right.

So welcome to the team - we hope you enjoy the journey and you are never alone in how you feel.

#TEAMWORK ALWAYS WINS
